OPERATION

Most Twin Wing openers are on 12” spacing. The customer would achieve 9” spacing

due to the 3” seed separation ( Fig 18 & 19). Normally 10” spacing is the narrowest

spacing that Seed Hawk offers.

What this knife essentially achieves is an additional seed row on the other side of the

band of fertilizer which has been placed by the fertilizer knife in front of the seed knife.

The 1.5” separation to the side of the fertilizer band is identical separation as the Single

Side Band seed opener.

Contact your local dealer for instructions on how to convert your Single Side Band

opener to accommodate the Twin Wing seed knife.
